The Purpose of the project which has been come into force va the protocol signed between General Directorate of Disaster Affairs and Anadolu Universitiy, Eskişehir is the evaluation of the geological conditions of Eskişehir Province, local soil conditions together with the constructional information by taking into consideration the geographical coordinates of the region and the determination of the earthquake effects on local soil conditions.To carry out this purpose five accelometers have been installed along active faults zones.

The utilization of data obtained from these accelometers is very important for the design of structures for the reliable construction in urban areas.Via the interpretation of the records obtained from these stations during the earthquake, the damage ratios on the structures will be transmitted to the Crisis Management Center in Provinces.In this way, during the disaster, important data will be provided for the intervention in emergency.

This site of stations have been selected via the evaluation of various soil conditions.
